I love telling stories of people through clay, the reason is very simple, because clay is the only material you can hold directly in your hands and be manipulated without any other barrier between the artist and the media, it holds itself without carrier, to me, it’s like telling a story without using language, but the story can be conveyed directly. The firing process gives clay life, because you can never predict the result until its rebirth when you open the kiln.

I keep track of my life by creating art, I make sculpture of people I met, scenarios I experienced, and I try not to rely on photography, I draw or sometimes even try to remember the feeling I felt, because I believe we see the vision with our spirit not eyes, and the only way you can capture it, is to use your brain to restructure the fragments in your memories, the reason I try so hard to capture people or scenes I’ve experienced, is for one day I can tell a story of my life with all these.
